She was within him!

This entry is submitted by me for Thursday Poets Rally Week 46!

Entropic the heartbeat conveyed a little less.
The eyes closed in a haze.
Advancement towards the future seemed crashing,
hallucinating light of knowledge dwindling.
With the playing liquid in hand,
 the voice hummed a tone.
Pulling her hands;
he laid themselves in moonlight.
Twisting her hairs around his fingers,
he softly placed kiss on her cheeks.
She nudged him a little,
shoved him aside.
But couldn't keep her love from him.
Removing the glass from his hand,
wiping away his tears,
she embraced him in her clasp.
And the night was a pleasure.
The beats fell right in place,
eyes closed with dreams innate.
The future seemed full of bliss,
so delighted he was as she gleaned him.

Seductive.

The ending is marvellous, filled with hope, tinged with fear.

Ah! Love! A purely divine abstract and you portrait it so well, Alcina.

And love moves through my days, in mysterious ways. :D

The see sawing between a dark and a love post, I might say I kind of miss that. But now the hues are a lovelier mellow. :)

Cheers,

A beautiful poem Alcina. Loved how the words lay on the page, it's actually given me some inspiration fo an experiment at a poem, so thank you for that. A beautiful representation of the topic, loved the lines

wiping away his tears,
she embraced him in her clasp"

Very sensual. Also, you've captured the forgetful embrace of the moment by the lovers perfectly. Good job! :D
